Telephone: +49 (0) 221 66951467 Email: contact@fuka-elevators.com Website: www.fuka-elevators.com

For questions concerning data protection, please contact Fuka - Elevator Solutions GmbH at contact@fuka-elevators.com.

2. General Information

We process personal data only where this is permitted by law or where you have given your consent. This website is a corporate information website. It has no user accounts, no login area and no shop, and it does not require you to provide any personal data in order to browse it.

Personal data is only processed to the extent described in this Privacy Policy: technically when the website is delivered to your device, and when you choose to contact us, either through the enquiry form or by email or telephone.

3. Hosting and Server Log Files

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA, and delivered through its global edge infrastructure. Vercel acts as a processor on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR. All website content, including images, fonts and stylesheets, is served from this website's own domain. No third-party font service, content delivery network, map, video embed or CAPTCHA is embedded in the pages.

When you access this website, your browser transmits technical information that is necessarily processed by the hosting infrastructure in order to deliver the requested content. This typically includes:

  • IP address of the requesting device
  • date and time of the request
  • requested URL or resource
  • HTTP status information and volume of data transferred
  • browser type and version, and operating system
  • referrer URL, where transmitted by your browser

This processing is necessary for the secure and stable delivery of the website, for troubleshooting and for the detection and prevention of misuse and attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

We do not create user profiles from this data and we do not merge it with other data sources. Log data held by our hosting provider is retained only for as long as it is required for the purposes above, in particular for technical operation and security analysis, and is deleted in accordance with the provider's operational retention configuration. We do not maintain our own separate log archive of website access data.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

This website does not set cookies. It does not use analytics, tag managers, tracking, advertising or profiling technologies, and it does not write to localStorage or sessionStorage. This was verified technically in August 2026.

Because no information is stored on or read from your device beyond what is technically necessary to transmit the page, no consent is required under Section 25 TDDDG and no consent banner is displayed.

Should we introduce non-essential storage or access technologies in future, we will obtain your consent beforehand and update this Privacy Policy.

5. Enquiry Form, Email and Telephone

The website provides an enquiry form, the email address contact@fuka-elevators.com and a telephone number. Whichever route you choose, the data you provide — for example your name, company, contact details, country and the content of your enquiry, including any attachment such as a drawing or photograph — is processed for the purpose of handling and responding to your request.

Enquiry form

The enquiry form transmits your entries and any attached file to us by email. There is no separate database behind the form, and the file you attach is not stored with a third-party file hosting service. For the technical dispatch of this email we use Resend, operated by Plus Five Five, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA, as a processor under a data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR.

The form is protected against automated abuse by a hidden field and a check of how quickly the form was submitted. Neither method involves a third-party service, sets any storage on your device, or collects additional personal data about you.

Legal basis and retention

Where your enquiry relates to a contract or to pre-contractual measures, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other business communication, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries addressed to us pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The confirmation checkbox in the form documents your agreement to this use.

Email and telephone communication necessarily involves the technical service providers operating our email and telecommunications systems; these providers act as processors or, where applicable, as independent controllers for the transport of the message. Beyond this, we do not disclose the content of your enquiry unless we are legally obliged to do so or disclosure is necessary to handle your request. Enquiry correspondence is retained for as long as necessary to process the matter and thereafter for the duration of applicable statutory retention obligations, in particular under German commercial and tax law.

7. Recipients and Service Providers

Within our company, access to personal data is limited to those persons who need it for the purposes described above. External recipients are limited to the processors we engage, namely our hosting provider named in section 3, the email dispatch provider named in section 5, the providers of our email and telecommunications services, and public authorities where we are legally obliged to disclose data.

We do not sell personal data and we do not transfer personal data for advertising purposes.

8. International Data Transfers

Our hosting provider and our email dispatch provider are established in the United States and operate global infrastructure. Processing of technical connection data, and of the content of an enquiry sent through the form, may therefore also take place outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers are safeguarded by the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission pursuant to Article 46(2)(c) GDPR, together with the providers' supplementary technical and organisational measures, and, where applicable, by the providers' certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We do not otherwise transfer personal data to third countries.

9. Retention of Personal Data

We store personal data only for as long as it is required for the purpose for which it was collected, or for as long as statutory retention obligations require. Once the purpose ceases to apply and no retention obligation exists, the data is deleted or anonymised.

10. Your Rights Under the GDPR

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the following rights in relation to the personal data we process about you:

  • Right of access (Article 15 GDPR), to obtain confirmation as to whether we process your personal data and to receive a copy of that data.
  • Right to rectification (Article 16 GDPR), to have inaccurate data corrected and incomplete data completed.
  • Right to erasure (Article 17 GDPR), to have your data deleted where one of the statutory grounds applies.
  • Right to restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR), to require that we limit processing in the cases provided by law.
  • Right to data portability (Article 20 GDPR), to receive data you provided in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object (Article 21 GDPR), to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Right to withdraw consent (Article 7(3) GDPR), where processing is based on consent you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.
  • Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR).

To exercise these rights, please contact us at contact@fuka-elevators.com.

11. Right to Object

Where we process personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right to object to that processing on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then cease the processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or unless the processing is required for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

12. Right to Lodge a Complaint

You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular the authority of your habitual residence or place of work. The authority competent for our company is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen), Düsseldorf, Germany. Current contact details are published on the authority's official website.

13. Data Security

This website is delivered exclusively over an encrypted TLS connection (HTTPS), so that data transmitted between your browser and the website, including anything you send through the enquiry form, cannot readily be read by third parties. We also apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Please note that data transmission over the internet, in particular unencrypted email, can never be guaranteed to be completely secure.

14. Automated Decision-Making

We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR through this website.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We review this Privacy Policy periodically and update it when the website or the underlying processing changes, or when legal requirements make an update necessary. The version published on this page applies. The date of the current version is stated at the top of this page.
